Currently under development, "The King of the Movies" chronicles the life and career of arguably America's first movie mogul, Siegmund Lubin. Although one of the most successful pioneers of the motion picture industry, Lubin's story is rarely known or told. After 30+ years of research and the acquisition of film fragments, photos, journals, promotional materials, assorted artifacts, and the publishing of "The King of the Movies", the definitive book on Lubin's career, has made this documentary film project possible.
